Finding the Perfect Toy Fox Terrier: Our Journey of Bringing Home Louie
After the loss of Chasey back in July 2024, we felt such an emptiness. We adopted Loci for a short time but had to give him back after a few weeks – he literally was possessed (had him from August 3-16, 2024). We weren’t sure if we would try again with another dog. Details on what happened to Chase and Loci’s adoption post is coming because where you get your pup matters. A reputable breeder with an open door policy of information matters. We opted to reach out to our previous breeder that we purchased Sir Chasey from in northern California. She had a boy available but thought he might be a bit much for us. We were looking for another Toy Fox Terrier but needed to have a calm temperament and super loving personality. I’m so grateful for Casey knowing and putting our needs first over financial gain. She called us a few weeks after we spoke. Casey mentioned she knew of another reputable breeder. This breeder had an available male dual color Toy Fox Terrier with the temperament we were looking for. We were beyond elated. However, we were also a bit apprehensive. The Tasmanian devil – we call Loci – was a terror. We were still scarred physically and emotionally.
The Plan
We initially sent a text, then made a phone call. Finally, we booked a date to pick up the pup in Cali. The goal was to spend a few days having some fun with the twins. What parent doesn’t want their kids to want to vacation with them? We are still happy to like us and want to hang out with us.

HOME
We are so in love with Louie. He fit into our family like peanut butter and jam, like your hand fits into a glove. Louie will be loved, spoiled and apart of this family as long as he will have us💛
